Position Summary:
The Senior Oracle E-Business Suite MRP, MPP, and MPS Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Production Planning (MPP), and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) modules within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, implementing best practices, and supporting end-users to ensure efficient and effective use of the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Analysis and Design:
- Analyze business processes and workflows related to MRP, MPP, and MPS to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and implement solutions to optimize MRP, MPP, and MPS functionalities, including demand planning, supply chain planning, and production scheduling.
- System Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle E-Business Suite MRP, MPP, and MPS modules.
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation and system setup guides.
- Ensure proper integration of MRP/MPP/MPS with other EBS modules, such as Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
- Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support for end-users, including troubleshooting issues and resolving system errors.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure system stability and efficiency.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on MRP/MPP/MPS functionalities and best practices.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the MRP, MPP, and MPS modules.
- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for production and supply chain optimization.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in projects related to the enhancement and expansion of MRP, MPP, and MPS functionalities.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring successful project completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and procurement, to achieve project goals.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle EBS releases, patches, and best practices.
- Recommend and implement system improvements and upgrades as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite, specifically in MRP, MPP, and MPS modules.
- Proven experience in system analysis, design, and implementation within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle EBS MRP, MPP, and MPS modules, including configuration and customization.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle development tools.
- Familiarity with integration tools and techniques, such as Oracle SOA, Oracle Fusion Middleware, or other integration platforms.
- Soft Skills:
